This splendid Mala Prayer Beads is carefully handmade with 108 natural genuine Turquoise and Lava Stone beads as well as a beautiful black tassel. The Turquoise and Lava gemstone beads are 8 mm in size.  Your mala can be worn as a necklace or used for meditation and prayer. Length is about 40 inches (101 cm). Beautifully hand-knotted.

Turquoise has been used as a purification stone. It dispels negative energy and clears electromagnetic smog. This gemstone also provides protection against environmental pollutants. It balances and aligns all the chakras, attuning the physical body to the spiritual.

Lava stones have emotional and spiritual benefits. Since lava is known for its grounding qualities, it’s wonderful for calming the emotions. In fact, the quality of fire springs from the ground, so in terms of healing gems, this lends itself to a calming- but intense- energy. Because it comes from raw energy, it’s considered to be a stone of rebirth and shedding unneeded layers of emotional attachment.

Mala Prayer Beads are used for keeping count while reciting, chanting, or mentally repeating a mantra or the name or names of a deity. This sādhanā (practice) is known in Sanskrit as japa. Malas are typically made with 18, 27, 54 or 108 beads.

Size Guide

Bracelets come in many different sizes and shapes and are a lovely addition to your jewelry collection. When it comes to choosing a bracelet, it is key to make sure that the sizing is just the right fit. The best way to do this is to measure your wrist size. You can use one of the two methods below to do this.

Option 1: With a measuring tape

- Make sure the palm of your hand is facing up
- Open your hand (doing so will ensure you get the real size of your wrist when it’s the largest)
- Snuggly wrap a measuring tape around your wrist
- Read the size on the measuring tape, preferably in inches or centimeters

Option 2: With a piece of paper or string

If you do not have a measuring tape, your piece of paper or string can function pretty much the same way. Wrap the paper or string around your wrist and mark with a pen or marker where the two pieces overlap. Then take your piece of paper or string and measure mark to mark on your ruler.
